There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
My professional designations and technology tools include:
CRS – Certified Residential Specialist
CRS is the symbol of excellence in residential real estate. Fewer than 4% of Realtors® hold this designation, it is the highest professional designation awarded in the residential sales field. To earn this designation I have completed a rigorous course of advanced training and have exceeded the experience (production) requirements.
The National Association of Realtors® ONLY Technology Certification Program. Technology is changing the face of real estate, Computers, the Internet, mobile communications – each has helped make the market more efficient, and at the same time more daunting. More than ever, the success of your real estate transaction depends on the ability of your Realtor® to harness that technology and make it work for you.
ABR – Accredited Buyers Representative
The ABR® designation is only awarded to licensed real estate professionals who complete specialized training that gives them the edge in understanding a buyer’s prospective and protecting and promoting their buyer-clients’ interests. Before earning the ABR® designation, buyers’ representatives must also demonstrate proven experience in representing buyers. Further, they are committed to maintaining their professional edge by staying current on the latest issues and trends in buyer representation.
Institute of Luxury Home Marketing Member
Member ship is limited to those recognized as knowledgeable professionals who have undergone extensive training in providing quality service and effective results in the luxury market. Recognized as the mark of accomplishment in luxury markets around the world, the Institute assures affluent buyers and sellers that the agents who have earned it have the knowledge, experience, competence, and confidence they require.
Seniors Real Estate Specialists® are Realtors® qualified to address the needs of home buyers and sellers age 50+. The SRES® Council awards the SRES® Designation to those members who have successfully completed its education program.
By earning the SRES® designation, I have demonstrated necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50-plus through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. I have received special training, get regular updates, and am prepared to offer the options and information needed in making life changing decisions.
CDPE – Certified Distressed Property Expert
A Certified Distressed Property Expert® is a real estate professional with specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry, and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. Through comprehensive training and experience, CDPEs are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in today’s market, specifically short sales.
CFS – Certified Foreclosure Specialist
A Certified Foreclosure Specialist is a real estate professional with specific education in the four unique business models relating to foreclosure. Realtors® with this designation have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in dealing with foreclosure and each of its respective niches relative to the real estate professional.
